India Travel - Food & Culture

All the countries and travel places have their own unique culture, nature, food and other specialty to attract traveler so they feel exotic world.

India also has lots of things and keen to know them attract travelers from around the world.

Here I am going to discuss such things of India and how traveling through India can make difference to you?

India has 28 states and 7 union territories of India. India has wide culture; every state has different culture with different language & different festivals. During travel you will find different culture, food, spirituality, ayurveda & spa, wildlife, beaches, festivals, art, monuments etc.

Culture

Gujarati, marathi, tamil, South Indian, kashmiri, rajsthani, Bengali, assami, etc are different culture. They all worshipped god in their unique way. Every religion have god and goddess, and on festival time whole community of people worshiped them together with music, prayers, colors, flowers, fragrance and fire. All festivals in it’s have its own reason for celebration.


Food:

Nearly most people in India are vegetarian and one can find non-vegetarian food also. So food choice can’t be a big trouble for you, yes but Indian food is bit spicy. If you don’t prefer spicy food then while giving order of food ask them for less spicy food and even the cook according to your taste.

Road side / street foods are well famous in India specially Tea. Most tourist’s chasm on the delicious & affordable roadside food in India to find the real taste of this amazing country. Some of the street food: chat, panipuri, bhel puri, vada paav, bhajiya, tea, aloo tiiki and pav bhaji.

Festivals

Some of the famous festivals with photographs. Festivals day come according to Indian calender so every year it has no fix English calender date. If you want to be a part of the festival you need to find date and day.

Navratri at Gujarat. Thousand of people wear traditional Gujarati dress, do dance called as Garba in circels on folk songs of Gujarat. This festival navratri is a worship time to praise Indian goddess. And this festival is celebrated as Durga Puja in Bengal.
